BC Workers’ News, Newspaper 1935-1946
The BC Workers’ News was published by the Communist Party beginning in 1935. It changed its title several times in ensuing years. This collection includes issues since its inception until 1946.

Under censorship provisions of the War Measures Act, the Communist Party was forced to cease publication for over two years from 1940-1942.
The collection is divided into five titles:
- BC Workers’ News (1935-1937)
- People’s Advocate (1937-1939)
- The People (1942-1944)
- Pacific Advocate (1944-1946)
- Pacific Tribune (Feb 15 1946-Dec 27 1946)
