Historian Janet Nicol reconstructs the events leading up to the tragic airplane crash that killed 23 workers in 1951.
This booklet traces the history of the Aluminum Company of Canada (ALCAN) megaproject in northwestern BC, and includes biographical details on some of those killed in the plane crash. It was produced to coincide with the dedication of a heritage plaque at the Bowen Road Cemetery in Nanimo.
