Collected Materials Fonds

The Collected Materials Fonds, spanning from 1913 to 2016, includes items donated to the BC Labour Heritage Centre over its existence. The Fonds contains a diverse array of records related to the labour movement in British Columbia.

Included are newsletters, newspaper and periodical clippings, and various publications and leaflets.

Key organizations and events documented in the fonds include:

● Labour Organizations: Association of University and College Employees (AUCE) Local 1, ILWU, Canadian Association of Industrial, Mechanical and Allied Workers (CAIMAW), BC Federation of Labour, National Union of Provincial Government Employees (NUPGE), United Steelworkers of America.
● Political Parties/Groups: Co-operative Commonwealth Federation (CCF), New Democratic Party (NDP).
● Specific Events/Themes: On-To-Ottawa Trek Anniversary, 1919 Strike Bulletins, Operation Solidarity, and the Charlottetown Accord.
