Great Northern Railway Disaster 1909

The plaque is located on the Central Valley Greenway, approximately 1.2 kilometres east of the Cariboo Place entry (on the east end of Burnaby Lake). It has been placed adjacent to where the accident took place, where Lost Creek flows into the Brunette River. The location is just to the south of the railway tracks, which are now part of the network of the Canadian National Railway.
